Overview

Responsibilities- Reviews, analyzes, and modifies programming systems including encoding, testing, debugging and documenting programs.
- Performs a variety of tasks. A certain degree of creativity and latitude is required.
- Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals.
- Associate’s degree in a related area or at least 2 years of equivalent experience in the field or a related area.
- Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field.
- Expertise and working knowledge in each of the following: COBOL, CICS, VSAM, DB2, TSO and JCL.
- Knowledge of Macrosope Methodology to document testing and implementation would be helpful, but is not a mandatory requirement.
