We are seeking a Director of Business Operations to support Operational Forecasting to build and lead the function responsible for forecasting revenue, power demand, as well as fixed and variable expenses associated with OCI’s rapidly scaling infrastructure.

This role sits at the center of OCI’s short and long-range planning and will ensure leaders have a clear, accurate, and actionable view of the demand signals that shape capital allocation, energy planning, and operational strategy.

You will oversee our forecasting engine—designing processes, building automated reporting frameworks, driving operational rigor, and enabling decisions  will collaborate across Finance, Capacity Planning, Data Center Operations, Engineering, and others to establish a single source of truth for all forward-looking operational metrics.

Responsibilities Forecasting & Analytics

  • Develop multi-horizon forecasts (weekly, monthly, quarterly, annual) that inform capacity planning, budgeting, and long-term investment decisions.
  • Create and maintain forecasting methodologies that are reliable, transparent, and easily auditable.
Operational Excellence & Reporting
  • Build automated reporting structures and data flows that reduce manual work and improve timeliness, accuracy, and scalability.
  • Establish governance around data inputs, assumptions, calculation logic, and forecast version control.
  • Deliver clear, executive-ready narratives that translate complex models into business insights.
Process Optimization & Automation
  • Assess current workflows and eliminate friction in data intake, modeling, and output.
  • Lead efforts to streamline upstream and downstream processes so forecasts are timely, repeatable, and minimally dependent on manual interventions.
  • Champion solutions that scale with OCI’s rapid infrastructure growth.
  • Build and develop a high-performing forecasting team; provide coaching, mentorship, and thought partnership.
  • Align team responsibilities to organizational priorities while creating space for innovation and continuous improvement.
The Ideal Candidate Expertise

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel, dashboarding tools, and data extraction/analysis (SQL preferred).
  • Ability to structure messy data environments and enforce data quality.
  • Demonstrated ability to influence cross-functional partners across Finance, Operations, and Engineering.
