Job Description
American Traveler is seeking a Nuclear Medicine Technologist with at least 1-2 years of experience and Epic charting proficiency for a rotating 4x10 day shift assignment.
Responsibilities- Work in a hospital nuclear medicine department performing nuclear medicine procedures in compliance with policy
- Patient care involves use of advanced nuclear medicine gamma cameras, probes, and computer systems
- Shifts are 4 days per week, 10 hours each, with varying start times or )
- Rotating weekday schedule with required standby/on-call coverage after departmental hours, anticipated 7 on-call days monthly
- Floating may be required to a nearby affiliate hospital located approximately 15 minutes away
- Epic EMR experience is required
- First-time travelers are accepted
- No block scheduling is available
- RTO must be finalized at submission and cannot be amended after
- Travel pairs are permitted if noted at submission
- Former permanent employees must wait six months after leaving before returning as a traveler
- Pre-employment and annual modules (up to 8 hours) must be completed
- Local candidates are accepted at the same rates
- Scrub or dress code details not specified
- Current registration in Nuclear Medicine with NMTCB or ARRT (within 6 months of hire)
- BLS (AHA) required within 90 days of hire
- ACLS required within 6 months of hire
- Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class within 4 months of hire
- Minimum of 1-2 years of nuclear medicine experience required, 5 years preferred
- Bachelor's or Associate degree preferred
- Must be able to operate state-of-the-art nuclear medicine equipment and film processors
- COVID vaccination required without exemptions
- Active Oregon license required if applicable
