Primary PurposeResponsible for supporting and caring for clients residing in Bridgeway's inpatient and residential treatment facilities. Assists in the implementation of an educational and supportive treatment environment, engaging in positive and appropriate relationship building with clients, resource community partners and co-workers. The person in this position is expected to support the agency's mission.
Residential Treatment AideBridgeway Community Health is currently seeking a qualified Residential Treatment Aide for our growing Residential Program.
Essential Duties And Responsibilities- Assist in the day‑to‑day operation of the residential program as assigned by the program manager.
- Develop and maintain a positive relationship with everyone served.
- Provide monitoring, care, and support to clients in accordance with Bridgeway Community Health policies.
- Ensure the quality of home life, total home climate, and physical condition of the house.
- Assist and teach individuals served to care for themselves in daily living tasks and social skills areas.
- Prepare and serve meals as directed by the culinary services department.
- Conduct hourly bed checks if working overnight.
- Accurately document the support provided in the client’s electronic health record.
- Transport clients to outside activities safely and prudently.
- Attend community meetings.
- Count and record equipment and food items for inventory.
- Maintain an organized and clean work environment.
- Attend staff meetings and work as a team member to identify and implement quality of services.

- Attend Bridgeway committee(s) as a program representative.
- Other duties as assigned.
- Typically requires a High School Diploma or General Education Certificate (GED).
- Must possess a current Oregon Food Handler card or become certified within two weeks of hire date.
- Must be CPR/First Aid certified or become certified within two weeks of hire date.
- Must possess a current and unrestricted Oregon Driver’s License.
- In addition to a high school level education, preference is given to candidates enrolled in a college‑level degree program and working toward gaining certification in a Human Services related field.
Skills And Abilities
- Excellent interpersonal communication skills and time management skills required to work effectively.
- Ability to communicate clearly and concisely both orally and in writing, manage time and meet deadlines.
- Understand and follow oral and written instructions.
- Qualified candidates must be able to pass a criminal background check.

- $19.09–$22.79/hour, depending on experience and credentials.
- Additional stipend available for Spanish/English bilingual employees.
