Empanelment Coordinator

West Salem Clinic | 1233 Edgewater Street NW, Salem OR 97304

Job Status:
Full-Time, Monday - Friday, 8:30am - 5pm

We are looking for a highly motivated individual that loves working in a high-paced environment to join our team as an Empanelment Coordinator.

• Maintenance of appointment schedules for Medical Providers, Dental, and Counselors; communicate inefficiencies in schedules to the Director of Patient Access and Clinic Director.
• Monitor all schedules to ensure patients are seen in a timely manner and do not experience excessive wait periods.
• Abstract health information from outside records for new patients.
• Ensure each patient is assigned a Primary Care Provider and, when applicable, a dentist, counselor, or psychiatrist; reassign patients as directed by supervision.
• Monitor and close patients/clients to services as they leave clinic or no longer require specialized services.
• Assist with checking patients/clients out and scheduling follow-up appointments, recalls, and initial assessments.

• High School Diploma or equivalent
• Ability to interact effectively and courteously with patients and staff
• Proficient in typing, familiarity with computers, and legible handwriting
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and flexible hours
• Bilingual English/Spanish
