SITION
PURPOSE:
Performs Nuclear Medicine Procedures in compliance with hospital policies and procedures.
8:15-1845 Mon, Tues, Fri and Thurs, please note that we would like to traveler take call/standby after hours.
• Bachelors or Associates degree preferred
• One (1) year of Nuclear Medicine experience preferred
• Pending Nuclear Medicine with the Oregon Board of Medical Imaging (OBMI) license allowed
• Must be registered in Nuclear Medicine with either the Nuclear Medicine Technologist Certification Board (NMTCB), or American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) within 6 months of hire.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) from the AHA within 90 days of hire.
• Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) required within 6 months of hire.
• Must pass a Basic Cardiac Monitoring class (offered at Salem Health) within 4 months of hire.
• Must be capable of operating state of the art Nuclear Medicine gamma cameras, probe and computer systems, film processors, survey meters, and other technical supportive devices.
