ARNP or PA-C - Addiction Medicine Provider

Location: Salem, OR

Compensation: $68-$74/hr

Schedule: M-TH, 40 hrs/week

We are seeking a Certified Physician's Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner to join our team and help us give back lives, reunite families, and heal communities affected by substance use disorder.

The Role:

As a provider with Ideal Option, you'll join our fight against the opioid crisis by helping patients during some of their most challenging times. Your responsibilities include:

• Monitoring patient chart activity in eCW for locking and co-signing charts
• Conducting in-office assessments to determine appropriateness for office-based buprenorphine therapy
• Obtaining patient histories and performing physical examinations
• Establishing diagnoses and treatment plans
• Referring patients for counseling
• Co-signing patient charts daily
• Inducing patients onto buprenorphine, ensuring they are in appropriate withdrawal states
• Managing gradual induction onto buprenorphine and assessing for side effects
• Conducting follow-up and maintenance evaluations
• Interpreting lab data and following telehealth guidelines

Qualifications:

• Active, unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license
• Active DEA license
