Early Childhood Education Instructional Specialist

Overview

The Early Childhood Education Instructional Specialist leads the early childhood education lab activities as the children's classroom teacher. Works closely with the staff team to facilitate the operation of a full-day childcare program. Ensures all aspects of classroom teaching align with Early Childhood Education Program coursework and philosophy. Provides information, feedback, and support to practicum students, contributes to parent education program, and collaborates with staff and faculty.

This Instructional Specialist role begins as a full-time (1.0 FTE) position for the first 12 months. Starting in the second year, the role will transition to a permanent 32-hour work week (0.8 FTE). Please note that the posted salary reflects a 100% full-time rate; compensation and benefits will be prorated to 80% upon the transition to the 32-hour schedule.
