Job Description:
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Lead Teacher to join our team for the school year. The ideal candidate will be an experienced educator with a strong background in elementary education and a commitment to fostering both academic and personal growth in young learners. This full-time position requires a dynamic individual who can create a nurturing and stimulating learning environment, integrate the HEART skills into daily instruction, and work collaboratively with colleagues and families.
- Develop and implement a rigorous and engaging first and second grade curriculum that aligns with school standards and fosters intellectual curiosity.
- Incorporate HEART skills into daily teaching practices, promoting social-emotional learning and character development.
- Create a safe, supportive, and inclusive classroom environment where all students feel respected and valued.
- Use a variety of instructional strategies to meet the diverse needs of students and support differentiated learning.
- Assess student progress regularly and use data to inform instruction and provide feedback to students and parents.
- Collaborate with other teachers, administrators, and support staff to ensure a cohesive and comprehensive educational experience.
- Communicate effectively with parents and guardians, providing regular updates on student progress and involving them in the educational process.
Salary starts at $45,000 and is commensurate with experience. Benefits include medical, dental, vision, and life insurance. We also offer retirement plan options and professional development opportunities.
