Viva Benefits is seeking a Community Success Manager (CSM) to serve as a personal, in-person point of contact for 400+ families across two apartment communities in Olympia, WA and Salem, OR. This is a hybrid role—you’ll engage residents face-to-face during on-site visits, and also handle follow-up, planning, team meetings, and tracking engagement remotely. Your mission is to knock on doors, build relationships, and help connect families to free benefits like telehealth, tutoring, financial tools, and the Viva app—all offered through a partnership between Viva and their property owner.

- Location: Olympia, WA & Salem, OR
- Start Date: Can start immediately (negotiable)
- Hours: 10–20 hours/week (flexible)
- Travel Required: This role requires travel to Olympia, WA, and Salem, OR. Additional travel may be needed as we expand. Travel mileage to and from partner communities will be reimbursed.

Director of Community Success (Etna)
You’ll coordinate with property managers and will be introduced to residents via email/text. You can schedule in-person hours flexibly during daylight hours and when management is on-site. Some evenings and weekends are ideal to accommodate resident availability.
- Pay range is $20–$35/hour, commensurate with experience
- Compensation will be revisited and renegotiated no later than 180 days after your start date

- Act as a friendly extension of both the Viva and property teams
Engage residents in person:
- Your main strategy: knock and talk! Meet families where they are—at their front doors
- Educate families about the free or deeply discounted services available through the Viva partnership
- Approach every interaction with curiosity, care, and respect
- Optionally support events or resident council meetings, but door-to-door is your main method
Follow up with residents remotely:
- Use a work number (Google Voice) to text/call residents you’ve connected with
- Support them in accessing benefits they’re interested in
- Coordinate in-person follow-ups as needed
- Use our shared tracker to note who has:
- Expressed interest in a benefit
- Successfully accessed that benefit
- Help residents progress from awareness to action!
- You’re a curious generalist or a ‘T-shaped’ professional
- You want to learn about early-stage startups
- You’re deeply motivated to help people and advance equity
- You have 2+ years of experience supporting diverse families in an urban context (public health, education, housing, etc. all great)
- Bilingual (English/Spanish) is strongly preferred but not required
- Backgrounds in social work or public health are welcome
- Familiarity with Social Determinants of Health (SDOH) is a plus
