Position: Forms Document Developer, Electronic Publishing Design Specialist 2

Job Responsibilities
  • Design, produce, and coordinate printing and translation of major program documents.
  • Create custom forms using Adobe Creative Cloud, Adobe Experience Manager, and Microsoft 365.
  • Oversee projects by collaborating with design teams, customers, and vendors to meet deadlines.
  • Consult and advise staff on forms design, digital accessibility, and compliance with legal requirements.
  • Manage complex or time-sensitive projects while ensuring quality and adherence to standards.
Qualifications
  • Minimum four years of graphics arts design production experience.
  • Bachelor’s or associate degree in Graphic Arts may substitute for two years of experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree in fine arts with at least 18 quarter (12 semester) hours of graphic arts courses may substitute for one year of experience.
  • One year of desktop publishing experience, including compiling and producing information for wide dissemination.
  • Experience with color separation, scientific illustration, or graphic/web software is a plus.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Specialized training or experience in color separation and correction, scientific illustration, or graphics/web software.
  • Familiarity with digital accessibility standards and tools like PAC 2024 and Common Look PDF.
  • Proven ability to create a wide range of materials, including newsletters, reports, and infographics.
  • Strong visual design skills with attention to layout, color, and typography.
  • Experience managing multiple projects and deadlines effectively.
