We are looking for an on‑call Office Specialist to work our Front Desk and Manor Care West desk. This position answers phones, accepts packages, and welcomes everyone that comes to Capital Manor. Must be able to cover any shift including day, evening and/or weekends as needed to cover employee vacations or call outs.

Qualifications

QUALIFICATIONS

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Proficient time management skills with the ability to multi‑task and prioritize work.
  • Must be able to work independently with the ability to make independent decisions when necessary.
  • Punctual with the ability to work scheduled hours.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORKING CONDITIONS

Must be able to sit at a desk for up to six hours per day; must be able to stoop, bend, stretch, and squat to access files and various documentation; must be able to lift up to 20 pounds frequently. Subject to frequent interruptions. May be subject to hostile and emotionally upset residents, family members, visitors, etc. Must be able to cope with the mental and emotional stress of the job.

May be exposed to infectious waste, diseases, conditions, etc., including potential exposure to AIDS and Hepatitis B viruses.
