Xanitos is hiring Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers for 1st shift at Salem Regional Medical Center in Salem, OH.

Job Overview: The Environmental Service Hospital Housekeepers may work in any location on client premises. This individual cleans and keeps facilities or locations in an orderly condition within a healthcare campus. Responsibilities may vary among accounts based on business necessities and client requirements.

• Cleans and polishes lighting fixtures, marble surfaces, and trim.
• Cleans rooms, hallways, lobbies, lounges, restrooms, corridors, elevators, stairways, locker rooms, and other work areas.
• Sweeps and/or vacuums floor.
• Dusts furniture and equipment.
• Polishes metalwork.
• Washes walls, ceilings, woodwork, windows, door panels, and sills.
• Empties wastebasket and transports trash to the disposal area.
• Replenishes bathroom supplies.
• Transports small equipment or tools between departments.

• Experience in the janitorial industry is a plus.
• Medical cleaning experience is a plus.
• Post-Offer Medical, Background Screening and Drug Test required.
• High school diploma or GED; or equivalent required.

Physical Demands: Requires regular standing, walking, lifting up to 50 lbs., and frequent handling of equipment. Able to work in a standing position for long periods. May involve exposure to chemicals; safety equipment may be required.
