Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner - General Medicine NH

Are you a dedicated Nurse Practitioner seeking a flexible opportunity to serve Veterans while enjoying competitive compensation? We are looking for skilled General Medicine Providers to join our team on a part-time, PRN basis, performing critical assessments to support our nation's Veterans.

This role offers the chance to work independently within your own practice environment, making a meaningful impact through essential medical evaluations.

In this position, you will conduct Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments, primarily interview-based with some physical assessments, ranging from range of motion testing to muscle strength evaluations. You will not be involved in prescribing or treatment but will play a vital role in helping Veterans receive the care they deserve. Quick credentialing, onboarding, and consistent administrative follow-up ensure a seamless experience.

This is an ideal opportunity for family medicine, internal medicine, orthopedic surgery, or general medicine practitioners with experience in compensation and pension evaluations.

Required Skills:

  • Current Nurse Practitioner license in the state of practice
  • Experience in general medicine, family medicine, internal medicine, or related fields
  • Strong interview and physical assessment skills
  • Ability to work independently and follow strict protocols
  • Excellent documentation and report-writing abilities
  • Familiarity with VA or military health assessments preferred
Nice to Have

Skills:
  • Prior experience with compensation and pension exams
  • Knowledge of VA protocols and documentation procedures
  • Ability to adapt to remote or portable assessment environments
  • Certification in relevant medical or nursing specialties
Preferred

Education and Experience:
  • Master’s or Doctoral degree in Nursing (MSN, DNP, or equivalent)
  • Minimum of 2 years clinical experience in general or internal medicine
  • Experienced in conducting medical assessments for veterans or military personnel
Other Requirements:
  • Must own a dedicated office space within a 50-mile radius of designated locations in Lincoln, NH, and Lebanon, NH
  • Availability to work 4-hour half-days or full-day shifts as needed
  • Willingness to complete required training and perform initial exams to qualify for bonuses
  • Local candidates only; travel costs included in pay rate
  • Job start date:
    March 6, 2026
  • Hourly pay rate: $402.00
