Material Handler

Overview

Purpose of Position:
The purpose of the Material Handler is to ensure the efficient, accurate, and safe movement, storage, and availability of materials required for manufacturing operations. This role supports uninterrupted production by delivering the right materials to the right locations at the right time, maintaining inventory accuracy, and adhering to safety and quality standards. By coordinating material flow between receiving, storage, production lines and shipping, the Material Handler helps optimize productivity, reduce downtime, and support overall operational efficiency.

Job Title: Material Hander
Location: Salem NH

• Support the Quality team with QRI activities due to technician shortages
• Perform production inventory transactions and audit confirmation activities directly on the floor.
• Support inventory control by auditing kanban systems to ensure accuracy and compliance.
• Execute inventory transactions related to material movement on the production floor.
• Perform and/or audit inventory transactions for outgoing material to ensure correct processing and traceability.
• Monitor kanban levels for non-inventory (NI) materials to prevent shortages or excess.
• Place orders for non-inventory materials as required to support uninterrupted operations.

• High school diploma or technical certification in machining, manufacturing, or related field.
• 1+ years of experience in Manufacturing environment
• Familiarity with ERP/MES
• Strong organizational and communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.

• Experience with IFS ERP system
• Bachelor's degree
• Experience and knowledge in Quality Systems compliant with ISO 9001:2015

The anticipated salary range for candidates who will work in Salem, NH is $23.00 to $29.00/hourly. The final salary offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, type and years of experience within the industry, education, etc.
