Position: HR Coordinator for Residential Facility

Human Resources Coordinator - Residential Facility

The Human Resources Coordinator enters and maintains confidentiality of employee information in the organization’s computerized systems, including but not limited to background checks, the Human Resources Information System (HRIS), and the Application Tracking System (ATS). The Coordinator assists the HR Manager and requires a high degree of integrity and confidentiality, as well as strong interpersonal skills, organization, professionalism, and initiative.

Responsibilities
  • Enter employment data into the HRIS system accurately and timely.
  • Act as subject matter expert on the HRIS and ATS.
  • Responsible for creating the trainings and following up with trainings in regards to any process in HRIS and ATS.
  • Manage and maintain licensing tracking.
  • Accurately process all background checks in a timely manner.
  • Assist the functions of Human Resources through timely and accurate data entry and system reporting.
  • Alert and follow up with appropriate team members and managers regarding late or missing documents required for data entry.
  • Track all documents for compliance tracking of current professional licenses, driver’s licenses, auto insurance, and all other paperwork.
  • Maintain confidentiality of all Human Resource information as appropriate.
  • Assist HR Manager.
  • Answer telephone lines promptly and efficiently, responding to message content appropriately.
  • Ensure documents on HRIS are accurate and up-to-date.
  • Lead Employee Engagement Committee.
  • Responsible for New Hire Onboarding and Orientation processes.
  • Maintain the confidentiality of employee and agency information.
  • Participate in department meetings and other related activities as needed.
  • Special projects as assigned by management.
  • Complete HR files audits monthly.
  • Regular attendance is to be maintained.
  • Interact with all staff in a positive and motivational fashion supporting the company’s mission.
  • Conduct all business activities in a professional and ethical manner.
  • Create and maintain a professional atmosphere.
Qualifications
  • High School degree with at least three years of human resource/benefits experience preferred.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Proficient in basic PC skills. Microsoft Word and Excel required.
  • High levels of accuracy, follow-through, prioritizing and meeting deadlines are essential.
  • Ability to multi-task and handle large volume of detail work accurately and efficiently and meet deadlines.
  • Professional telephone etiquette; good written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to handle employee confidentiality.
  • Interpersonal skills that promote interdisciplinary collaboration and effective communication.
  • Compliance with accepted professional standards and practices.
  • Demonstrate excellent observation and communication skills.
  • Initiative to take charge of unforeseen situations, solve problems and adjust to schedule changes.
  • Able to present to large audiences.
  • Obtained satisfactory references from employers and/or professional peers.
  • Passed a satisfactory criminal background check.
