Join Our Team as a Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine - NH
Elevate your healthcare career by providing essential services to Veterans across New Hampshire as a Locum Nurse Practitioner in General Medicine. This vital role offers flexible scheduling and meaningful work, supporting veterans through non-treatment Compensation & Pension exams and Separation Health Assessments. Be part of a dedicated team committed to delivering quality care and making a difference in the lives of those who've served.
Required Skills:
- Valid Nurse Practitioner (NP) license issued by the state of New Hampshire or eligible for licensure.
- Proven experience in general medicine, internal medicine, family medicine, or related specialties.
- Strong interviewing and physical assessment skills, including range of motion and muscle strength testing.
- Ability to perform non-treatment exams efficiently with attention to detail.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with veterans and team members.
- Reliable availability for PRN engagement, primarily on days scheduled in Lincoln and Lebanon, NH.
Skills:
- Previous experience performing Compensation & Pension (C&P) exams.
- Familiarity with government or veteran healthcare systems.
- Certification in VA or related military healthcare programs.
- Proficiency in documentation and report submission using digital platforms.
Education and Experience:
- Master’s Degree in Nursing or higher.
- At least 2 years of clinical experience as a Nurse Practitioner.
- Prior experience with veteran populations or government healthcare contracts is advantageous.
- Own a dedicated office space within a 50-mile radius of Lincoln and Lebanon, NH.
- Willingness to complete credentialing and onboarding promptly.
- Ability to travel within the specified geographic area at no cost, as travel is included in rates.
- Compliance with all VA and federal regulations pertaining to healthcare practice and documentation.
