ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – Night Shift travel assignment in Salem, MA. 13-week W2 Critical Care RN opportunity at a Level III Trauma Center; 12-hour nights; estimated weekly pay $2,020–$2,130. Join our ICU nursing team for a high-impact travel nurse role near Boston.

• Job Title: ICU Registered Nurse (RN) / Critical Care RN / MICU Nurse (Travel)
• Location: Salem, MA 01970 — North Shore, historic coastal community with easy access to Boston
• Setting: 20-bed Medical/Surgical ICU in a 400+ bed community hospital (Level III Trauma Center)
• Assignment Length: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Shift: 12-hour nights (7:00 PM – 7:30 AM)
• Hours per week: 36 guaranteed
• Employment Type: Travel Nurse, W2
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 – $2,130

• Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
• Minimum 2 years of continuous Adult ICU (MICU) experience in one location
• Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications
  
  Strong telemetry skills — reading and interpreting telemetry strips and dysrhythmias
• Experience with EPIC EMR preferred (electronic health record experience helpful for travel nurse roles)
• Ability to float to Medical/Surgical units as needed (ratios up to 1:4 or 1:5)
• Excellent clinical assessment, communication, and critical thinking skills

• Provide high-quality, compassionate critical care to adult patients with diagnoses such as sepsis, respiratory failure, cardiac arrest, cardiogenic shock, DKA, renal failure, GI bleed, and substance-related emergencies
• Monitor, assess, and document patient condition using EPIC EMR and bedside monitoring systems
• Interpret telemetry and respond to dysrhythmias; elevate concerns and collaborate with the multidisciplinary team
• Work closely with onsite attending physicians and residents who provide 24/7 coverage in the ICU
• Float to Medical/Surgical units when required, adapting to varying patient acuity and staffing ratios
• Participate in interdisciplinary rounds, contribute to individualized care planning, and ensure compliance with hospital policies and safety standards
