Telemetry RN travel contract in Salem, MA — 13-week cardiac telemetry nursing opportunity in a 24-bed Medical Cardiology unit (Pingree

- Estimated Weekly Salary: $1,910–$2,010 per week
- Location: Salem, MA 01970 (North Shore of Massachusetts, easy commute to Boston)
- Unit: Pingree 4 Medical Cardiology (24 beds)
- Contract Duration: 13 weeks (May 17, 2026 – August 15, 2026)
- Hours per Week: 36 hours
- Shift: 12-hour shifts;
Nights (Days/Eves/Nights rotate & every other weekend) - Employment Type: Travel RN / Telemetry Nurse
- Active Massachusetts RN license (required)
- AHA BLS Certification
- Minimum 2 years recent experience in cardiac/telemetry nursing (Telemetry RN, Cardiac Telemetry)
- Proficient in reading and interpreting telemetry strips and dysrhythmias
- Experience initiating and titrating cardiac drips
- Post-catheterization care experience (PCI, ICD, PPM, Ablation, TR Band, femoral approach)
- Required onboarding documentation: MMR, TB test, health statement, criminal background check/CORI, resume, references, skills checklist, medication exam, dysrhythmia exam, fit test/respirator clearance, education verification, SSN trace, national sex offender & exclusion checks
- Continuously monitor and interpret telemetry strips for cardiac patients (telemetry monitoring)
- Administer and safely titrate cardiac drips per provider orders
- Provide comprehensive post-cath care and monitoring following PCI, ICD/PPM placements, ablations, and femoral access procedures
- Collaborate with cardiologists, physicians, and interdisciplinary team members to deliver high-quality cardiac care
- Maintain accurate clinical documentation and adhere to unit protocols and standards
- Manage RN-to-patient ratios:
Days 1:5, Nights 1:6 - Rotate shifts and work every other weekend as scheduled
