Travel ICU Registered Nurse (RN) – MICU in Salem, MA. 13-week travel nurse role for experienced critical care nurses with a Massachusetts RN license, 2+ years Adult ICU experience, and current ACLS/BLS certifications. - Assignment Type: Travel Nurse (13-week contract) – Travel ICU RN

- End Date: July 18, 2026
- Unit: Medical/Surgical ICU (MICU) at a Level III Trauma Center
- Bed Count: 20 beds
- Hours per Week: 36 guaranteed hours
- Shift Duration: 12-hour shifts (Night shift track available)
- Shifts: Rotating Days/Evenings/Nights & Every Other Weekend; night shift does not rotate
- Estimated Weekly Pay: $2,020 - $2,130
- EMR: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred)

Job Requirements
- Active Massachusetts RN license required (Massachusetts nursing jobs candidates only)
- Minimum 2 years of continuous Adult ICU experience in one location; MICU experience preferred
- Current AHA BLS and ACLS certifications required
- Telemetry competency with ability to interpret tele strips
- Clinical competence with ventilator management, vasoactive drips, and hemodynamic monitoring
- Ability to float to Medical/Surgical units and safely manage up to 4–5 patients when floated
- Successful completion of onboarding health and background screenings
- Experience charting in EPIC preferred; travel nurse experience a plus
- Provide high-quality, evidence-based critical care nursing to adult patients in a high-acuity MICU setting
- Perform bedside ICU care including ventilator management, advanced hemodynamic monitoring, and titration of vasoactive medications
- Care for patients with respiratory failure, sepsis, DKA, GI bleed, cardiac arrest, renal failure, cardiogenic shock, overdoses, and complex psychiatric needs
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams including intensivists, residents, respiratory therapy, pharmacy, and other clinical staff available 24/7
- Accurately document assessments, interventions, and clinical notes in EPIC
- Float to Medical/Surgical units as needed and manage assigned patient loads safely and effectively
- Participate in rotating shifts and scheduled weekend coverage; provide patient and family education and compassionate support
