• Location: Salem, MA 01970 — Salem, Massachusetts travel nurse position
• Unit: Phippen 6/7 – 32 Bed Ortho/Neuro Med/Surg Unit (Orthopedic, Neuro, Medical/Surgical, Telemetry)
• Employment Type: Travel Contract / Travel Nurse (Telemetry RN)
• Contract Duration: 13 weeks (April 19, 2026 – July 18, 2026)
• Hours per Week: 36 hours (Guaranteed)
• Estimated Weekly Pay: $1,910–$2,010/week
• Shift: 12 Hour Nights (rotating shifts may be required; day rotators may be scheduled 7a-7p, 11a-11p, or 7p-7a)
• Clinician to Patient Ratio: Day/Eve: 1:4–5;
  Night: 1:5–6
• Charting System: EPIC (EPIC experience preferred for Telemetry RN roles)

• Minimum 2 years of recent Med/Surg and Telemetry RN experience (telemetry monitoring and clinical vigilance required)
• Current Massachusetts RN license (Massachusetts nursing license required)
• BLS certification required; ACLS preferred
• Telemetry competency with ability to accurately interpret and document Tele Strips
• Strong neuro assessment skills for ortho/neuro patient population
• Ability to float to applicable units (flexible clinical support across med/surg and telemetry areas)
• Completion of required onboarding health screenings, background checks, and facility onboarding

• Provide high-quality nursing care to scheduled elective orthopedic, neuro/surgical, fracture, and medical overflow patients (Med/Surg & Telemetry nursing)
• Perform comprehensive neuro assessments and continuous monitoring of telemetry patients
• Interpret and document Tele Strips accurately and escalate concerns appropriately
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams (physicians, PT/OT, case management) to ensure optimal patient outcomes
• Maintain accurate, timely patient records using EPIC EMR and follow charting best practices
• Float to other units as required to support patient care needs and ensure continuity of care
• Adhere to all facility policies, procedures, and infection control standards
