ResponsibilitiesThe Nurse Practitioner will contribute to the company’s growth by providing direct patient care at one or several of our centers in Connecticut. The Nurse Practitioner will make sure our patients receive the highest level of care possible in infusion therapy.
In this role you will:
Provide in-person infusion care and support at a Local Infusion center, with occasional travel to other centers for coverage and support.
Your time will be split approximately:
- 80% Clinical Responsibilities
- 20% Quality & Compliance Responsibilities
- Deliver infusions or injections in accordance with prescribed protocols and guidelines
- Communicate effectively with patients across all aspects of their care (scheduling, symptoms, inquiries, etc.)
- Coordinate with referring/prescribing providers to ensure appropriate and effective care
- Order and maintain clinical inventory and supplies
- Onboard new Medicare patients by conducting establishment calls and completing documentation
- Perform chart audits, provide clinical supervision, and ensure compliance across the region
- Serve as a resource for patient education, especially for preventative health consultations
- Active and unrestricted Nurse Practitioner license in Massachusetts
- Minimum 2 years of experience in outpatient or infusion-based care
- Strong clinical judgment: IV therapy experience preferred
- Excellent communication, documentation, and organizational skills
- Familiarity with Electronic Health Records (EHR) systems
- Experience with Medicare documentation and quality/compliance processes preferred
