Two Med/Surgical Units.
One 15 bed unit and one 8 bed Surgical
Stepdown Unit. Floating

Telemetry monitoring (must be able
to read tele strips), management of Chest tube, NGT, epidurals, and Capnography.
Skills Sets Preferred:
Management of Arterial lines and management of
neo-synephrine. Clinician to Patient Ratio:
Patient ratios are 6-10 patients per PCA and 3-5 patients
per RN. Stepdown ratios are 2-3 per RN. Patient Population:
We
care for patients after the following types of Surgeries:
General, GYN,
Vascular, Thoracic, Urology, Oral, Plastics, and Trauma. Bed Count: 23. Census: 23. EMR (Charting System): EPIC. Certifications
Required:
Current Massachusetts
RN License. AHA BLS Certification.
