MICU RN – Rotating Shifts (Days/Evenings/Nights) – 36 hrs/week Floating Required | Every Other Weekend Requirements
Experience:
3+ years ICU experience 2+ years continuous MICU experience in one facility Must be able to read and interpret Tele strips
Certifications:
MA RN License, BLS, ACLS Unit Details Unit Name:
Level III Trauma Center – Medical/Surgical ICU Bed Count: 20-bed MICU Charting: EPIC RN Ratios: MICU: 1:1 or 1:2 depending on acuity Float to Med/Surg: 1:4 or 1:5 Patient Population Adult patients with varied high-acuity conditions including:
Sepsis, DKA, GI Bleed Substance Abuse/Overdose Severe Psychiatric Conditions Respiratory Failure Cardiac Arrest, Cardiogenic Shock Renal Failure Attendings and residents are in-house 24/7. Floating Required Primarily to Med/Surg units Must maintain Telemetry competency Scheduling Rotating Day positions:
May rotate between 7a–7p, 11a–11p, or 7p–7a as needed Night shift:
Does not rotate Every Other Weekend (EOW) required
