Overview
Peabody Properties, Inc. seeks an experienced Property Manager to oversee an apartment community in Salem, MA.
Responsibilities- Oversee all property operations and the site office and maintenance staff, ensuring compliance with the LIHTC program.
- Ensure properties are optimally occupied and properly staffed with skilled personnel.
- Prepare budgets and monitor expenses within budget constraints.
- Complete and oversee processing of all resident certification/recertification forms.
- Provide management in resident relations, budgetary analysis, and staff supervision.
- Knowledgeable about affordable housing programs, including LIHTC, federally-assisted housing, and all state and local housing regulations.
- Time management skills and ability to prioritize a must.
- Solid administrative, organizational, computer, marketing, and resident relations skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
- Ability to take initiative and be self-motivated.
- Bilingual (English/Spanish).
- Requires High School Diploma or GED with a minimum of 5 years related property management and supervisory experience.
- Proficient in Microsoft Word, PowerPoint, and Excel.
- Knowledge of Onesite is a plus.
- LIHTC recertification experience required.
Peabody Properties offers $63,252.80 - $75,000 dependent on experience and budget, along with a rich benefits package that includes medical, dental, 401(k), STD, life insurance, Employee Assistance Programs (EAP), paid time off, paid holidays, paid training, tuition reimbursement, wellness programs, employee referral bonuses, and flex spending.
