Regular Paid: $29.23 – $44.48 per hour (minimum $44.52 per hour, $20,000 sign‑on bonus, $15K sign‑on bonus for the qualifying role)
Under general supervision of the Manager of Cardiology Services, the Nuclear Med Technologist – Cardiology is responsible for the day‑to‑day overall operations of the department, including troubleshooting of equipment to ensure compliance with nuclear regulatory requirements.
Responsibilities- Operate and maintain nuclear medicine and cardiology imaging equipment.
- Troubleshoot equipment to preserve department functionality and regulatory compliance.
- Assist in timing and quality control of cardiac scans.
- Maintain accurate and complete patient records in accordance with regulations.
- Effective communication and organizational skills.
- Ability to stand for extended periods, lift or support patients, and work under time pressure and emergency situations.
- Satisfactory completion of a formal nuclear medicine/cardiology training program and registration with the national board for nuclear medicine technology.
- License as a Nuclear Technologist in the State of Massachusetts.
- Certification with ARRT or NMTCB as a Nuclear Med Tech.
- Preferred: at least 1‑year of relevant experience.
