Inpatient Psychiatrist, MGB-Salem Hospital
Mass General Brigham is seeking a Board Certified or Board Eligible adult inpatient psychiatrist for a full‑time or part‑time position at Salem Hospital.
Job SummaryProvide high‑quality psychiatric care in the Epstein Center for Behavioral Health, a 120‑bed inpatient facility affiliated with Massachusetts General Hospital.
QualificationsBoard Certified or Board Eligible adult inpatient psychiatrist. Eligible for optional opportunities:
Consultation‑Liaison service, Adult Outpatient Department, teaching with Tufts faculty appointment, and research at Mass General and Harvard Medical School.
- Deliver psychiatric care at the Epstein Center for Behavioral Health.
- Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team (social workers, psychiatric nurse practitioners) to optimize workflows and enhance patient care.
- Optional opportunities:
- Participate in the Consultation‑Liaison service or the Adult Outpatient Department.
- Teach on‑site, with a Tufts Medical School faculty appointment for physicians involved in medical student training.
- Engage in educational and research opportunities at Mass General and Harvard Medical School.
Competitive salary ($255,000 to $310,000 annually), comprehensive benefits, career advancement opportunities, and bonuses. Base pay will be determined during the selection process based on experience, education, and other factors.
