JRI’s Children’s Friend and Family Services division is committed to assisting families and their children who are dealing with substantial behavioral, emotional, and mental health challenges. Our mission is to ensure they can access the vital services necessary for them to flourish at home, in school, and within their communities.
CompensationThe pay range for this position is $21.00 to $35.00 per hour. The listed range reflects what we reasonably and in good faith expect to pay for this role at the time of posting the position. The actual compensation an employee is offered may vary based on several factors such as experience, education, licensure, certifications and qualifications. This range may be modified in the future.
WhatYou’ll Do
- Provide administrative and centralized support to the Division Administrative Team, including Vice President/Executive Director, Finance Manager, Division Director, and Regional Director.
- Support community relations and engagement related to systems of care and collaborations with state and local partners.
- Receive, track, and support donations and fundraising efforts.
- Oversee maintenance of central purchases, office equipment and supplies; order as needed.
- Participate in and support operationalization of division employee engagement activities.
- Design and publish media materials and support outreach for special events.
- Schedule, coordinate, and facilitate special events, fundraisers, and meetings; coordinate with vendors, volunteers, and staff.
- Serve as Office Manager for Salem Site ensuring building/facility tasks are overseen and managed; supervise additional administrative staff as assigned.
- Assist with special assignments as needed.
- Serve as the Senior Safety Officer.
- Perform other related duties as assigned.

- Must be 21 years or older.
- Experience in the health or human services field preferred.
- Bilingual candidates encouraged to apply!
- Ability to interact effectively with a wide array of populations, including homeless and addicted individuals; people living with HIV/AIDS; people living with mental health issues; funders and donors.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel required.
- Must be able to create record keeping and tracking systems for streamlining job functions as needed; strong internet research skills.
- Must have the ability to work independently while supporting the administrative team.
- Candidate should have excellent organizational skills, attention to detail, ability to problem solve, ability to multi-task and determine task priorities, strong initiative, and excellent follow-through.
- Must have an active driver's license and willing to occasionally travel to community locations and other JRI sites on a prescheduled basis required.
- Background and driving record checks will be performed.
