Experienced Purchase executive construction HR

Description   We are seeking an Experienced Purchase Executive to join our construction company in Salem. The ideal candidate will have 1-3 years of experience in procurement, knowledge and experience in construction sector will be a plus, and will be responsible for managing the purchasing process of materials and supplies essential for our projects. This role requires a detail-oriented individual with strong negotiation skills and a good understanding of the construction industry.

Responsibilities    Manage and oversee purchasing activities for construction materials and supplies and raise purchase orders.
Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers to ensure favorable terms and pricing.
Maintain accurate records of purchases, pricing, and supplier information.
Collaborate with project managers and site engineers to determine purchasing needs and timelines.
Monitor inventory levels and coordinate timely reordering of materials to avoid project delays.
Evaluate supplier performance and maintain strong relationships with vendors.

Skills and Qualifications    1-3 years of experience in procurement or purchasing, (IT industry candidates need not apply).
Strong negotiation and communication skills.
Ability to analyze market trends and supplier performance.
Knowledge of construction materials, tools, and industry standards.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

Note:

IT industry SAP candidates need not apply.

Salary: 20K per month (can be considered for higher package based on experience).

Work Location:

Salem , Tamil Nadu.
Work Timing: 9:30 am to 6:30 pm (Mon to Sat will be working, Sunday is fixed off)
