Position: Processor / Senior Processor (Documentation) - Freight Forwarding - Operations (US Process)
Roles and Responsibilities:

Replying to Emails/ Skype messages received from client file managers within a time frame of 15 min.
As a part of the EXPORT DOCS TEAM, running a daily cutoff report from client logistic system and sending emails to shipper of record and file manager to push for docs to submit.
Making sure that all docs which were forwarded by clients in USA contains the message for EXPORT DOCS for processing the file.
Supplying all PRE-ALERTS to overseas agents for further processing and on carriage.
As a part of the EXPORT DOCS team, checking the internal notes given in booking.
Entering all the documents which are received in between 8:30

Am to 4:30 Pm (EST) on the same day whereas processing docs received after 4:30 pm next working day on priority basis.
Submitting AES on and SI to carrier in timely manner
Verifying that all proof received from carrier is correct per DUMMY or correction prior to ETD to avoid correction fees.
Submitting SI to carrier prior to doc cut even if there is no container number as DUMMY then correcting it with SI re submit to carrier.
Receiving final approval from customer if BL ok or not and if corrections needed later, charging a fee.
Managing daily email replies and comments either to customer directly or client file managers.
