Maintenance Technician (Full-Time) The Company
Our client is a well-established, non-profit organization serving the Clearwater and surrounding communities. They are committed to maintaining safe, functional, and welcoming facilities for both staff and clients.
The PositionOur client is seeking a Full-Time Maintenance Technician to support their facilities and operations. This role is responsible for maintaining buildings, equipment, vehicles, and grounds while ensuring compliance with safety and agency standards.
Compensation & Benefits- $18.00 – $22.50 per hour, depending on experience

- High School Diploma or GED
- Minimum of two (2) years of maintenance experience
, including electrical, plumbing, and carpentry (basic) - General contracting or construction experience preferred
- Working knowledge of electrical wiring, plumbing, carpentry, and painting
- Basic automobile maintenance knowledge
- Computer literate
- Must be at least 21 years of age
- Ability to lift heavy items and operate power tools, hand tools, and ladders
- Ability to take the lead on projects and coordinate with management
- Negative drug screening prior to hire and throughout employment
- Clear criminal background check prior to hire and throughout employment, including local, state, and DCF Level II screening
- Fingerprinting required; must be determined to be of good moral character
- Valid Florida Driver’s License with acceptable driving record
- Reliable vehicle with valid registration and insurance in compliance with Florida laws
- Ability to provide official transcripts
- Maintain buildings, equipment, and grounds
- Perform routine maintenance and repairs as needed
- Conduct inspections of fire extinguishers, first aid kits, smoke alarms, and A/C filters
- Maintain fleet vehicles
- Assist with moving furniture, files, and equipment
Coordinate maintenance projects with management - Perform other duties as assigned
- Work performed both indoors and outdoors
- Required to drive company vehicle
- Travel required between agency locations and surrounding community
- Some cleanup and handling of hazardous materials may be required
- Must meet established insurance and agency driver requirements
