Position Overview

As a Pipe Diagnostic & Sales Specialist, you will be the expert customers count on to diagnose and explain drain and sewer issues. You will use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including high-definition cameras, water jetting, and other advanced equipment to identify problems and guide customers toward the best solutions.

Key Responsibilities
  • Perform camera inspections to diagnose drain and sewer blockages
  • Troubleshoot and determine the best repair techniques
  • Educate customers and help them make informed repair decisions
  • Complete jetting, cable, or smoke tests as needed for accurate diagnostics
  • Maintain detailed inspection reports using CCTV equipment
  • Collaborate with customer service and dispatch teams for seamless service
  • Keep equipment and vehicles clean, organized, and in top condition
  • Travel daily within the state to customer sites, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed
Qualifications
  • Knowledge of drain cleaning, sewer systems, or related trades (preferred)
  • Sales experience — ability to build trust, educate customers, and confidently close service opportunities
  • Comfort working with diagnostic and repair tools
  • Tech-savvy — able to document and record inspections digitally
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Ability to work safely, follow OSHA guidelines, and handle physical tasks
  • Valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred)
  • NASSCO PACP/LACP/MACP Certification within one year of hire
  • Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
  • Positive team player with strong communication skills
  • Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
  • Willingness to receive training and grow into advanced roles
