Position OverviewAs a Pipe Diagnostic & Sales Specialist, you will be the expert customers count on to diagnose and explain drain and sewer issues. You will use state-of-the-art diagnostic tools including high-definition cameras, water jetting, and other advanced equipment to identify problems and guide customers toward the best solutions.
Key Responsibilities- Perform camera inspections to diagnose drain and sewer blockages
- Troubleshoot and determine the best repair techniques
- Educate customers and help them make informed repair decisions
- Complete jetting, cable, or smoke tests as needed for accurate diagnostics
- Maintain detailed inspection reports using CCTV equipment
- Collaborate with customer service and dispatch teams for seamless service
- Keep equipment and vehicles clean, organized, and in top condition
- Travel daily within the state to customer sites, with occasional out-of-state travel as needed
- Knowledge of drain cleaning, sewer systems, or related trades (preferred)
- Sales experience — ability to build trust, educate customers, and confidently close service opportunities
- Comfort working with diagnostic and repair tools
- Tech-savvy — able to document and record inspections digitally
- Strong communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work safely, follow OSHA guidelines, and handle physical tasks
- Valid driver’s license (CDL Class B preferred)
- NASSCO PACP/LACP/MACP Certification within one year of hire
- Safety-conscious and detail-oriented
- Positive team player with strong communication skills
- Basic mechanical aptitude and problem-solving ability
- Willingness to receive training and grow into advanced roles
