Pay Range: Salary plus commission, and incentives. First year $40,000 - $45,000
Position SummaryThe Equipment Finance Representative is responsible for driving growth by building and maintaining relationships with equipment dealers and end users. This role focuses on enrolling new dealer accounts into our financing program, generating application referrals, and supporting customers with their financing needs. The ideal candidate will excel at outbound prospecting, cold calling, and representing the company at trade shows and industry events.
This candidate should reside in the greater Tampa Bay area. The position will primarily work remotely but should be able to travel to our offices in St. Petersburg as needed.
- Dealer Acquisition & Relationship Management
- Identify and solicit new dealer accounts to join the Equipment Finance program.
- Complete enrollment kits and onboard dealers to enable application referrals.
- Monitor account performance, including approval and funding ratios, and implement strategies to increase finance penetration.
- Communicate promotions, program updates, and performance metrics to dealer contacts regularly.
- Outbound Prospecting & Cold Calling
- Conduct proactive outreach to new prospects via phone and email.
- Utilize cold calling tools for 2–3 hours weekly to generate new business opportunities.
- Trade Show & Event Participation
- Attend industry trade shows to sign up dealers and promote financing programs.
- Represent the company at consumer shows to take credit applications and engage end users.
- Proven ability in sales, cold calling, and relationship building.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills for engaging decision-makers.
- Excellent phone presence and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency with computer systems and CRM tools.
- Highly organized with strong time-management skills.
- Resilient and persistent in handling rejection and following up on leads.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving market.
- Professional and polished appearance when meeting clients, lenders, or attending events.
