What you'll do- Provide member service by acknowledging the member and identifying member needs; provide guidance and support to members regarding self-service technology; assist members with purchasing decisions; locate merchandise; resolve member issues and concerns; and promote the company's products and services.
- Assist management with the supervision of associates in the assigned area of responsibility by assigning duties to associates, communicating goals and feedback, training associates on processes and procedures, providing direction and guidance on member service approaches and techniques to ensure member complaints and issues are resolved according to company guidelines.
- Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures; support the Open Door Policy; participate in recruiting, hiring, scheduling, promoting, coaching, and evaluating associates.
- Receive and stock supplies and merchandise from distribution centers and vendors; organize and maintain the sales floor using equipment; complete paperwork, logs, and other required documentation according to company policies and procedures.
- Maintain safety of the facility according to company policies and procedures by conducting safety sweeps, following procedures for forklift spotting, handling and disposing of hazardous materials, and reporting unsafe situations to management.
- Ensure maintenance of the sales floor and merchandise presentation by handling claims and returns, zoning the area, stocking, organizing merchandise, and setting up displays; remove damaged goods; price merchandise and identify shrink and damages; secure fragile and high-shrink merchandise.
- Monitor food and merchandise quality to ensure product rotation, code dating, product recalls, and sanitation standards are followed according to company policies and procedures; manage merchandising area categories and cleaning across all departments.
- Oversee the picking and staging of club pick-up orders; ensure products are selected and staged according to company policy and procedures.
- Develop, communicate, and implement processes and practices to meet business needs by collaborating with managers, coworkers, customers, and other business partners; analyze and apply information from multiple sources; monitor progress and results; identify and address improvement opportunities.
- Demonstrate, promote, and support compliance with company policies, procedures, and standards of ethics and integrity by explaining, guiding, and demonstrating how to apply these in executing business processes; implement related action plans using the Open Door Policy; assist management with correcting ethical and compliance issues.
- Lead and participate in teams by using and sharing resources, information, and tools; determine customer needs and business priorities; coordinate and execute work assignments; provide advice, feedback, and support to ensure timelines and work quality; model and help others adapt to change or new challenges.
