Cheeky's is a neighborhood seafood restaurant and oyster bar opening soon in St. Petersburg's Grand Central District. A mix between a salty Old Florida fish shack and a classic New England oyster bar, the menu features classic American dishes, seasonal ingredients and bold flavors.

• Full-time, hourly position
• Five days per week
• Two consecutive days off
• Rotating holidays

Teamwork is the essential element of your position at Cheeky's. Everyone is equally responsible for ensuring the experience of our guests is extraordinary. The words "no" and "it's not my job" are never to be used. There are no boundaries in these duties, in addition to the specific job responsibilities listed.

• Cleans & prepares shellfish for serving to customers
• Consistently follows recipes, portion sizes, and quality standards
• Rotates oysters daily, oldest on top
• Provides fast, accurate shucking of oysters
• Restocks all items through each shift
• Provides assistance to kitchen manager and kitchen staff with food preparation
• Ensures all tools and equipment are properly stored and safely used
• Follows proper safety and sanitation processes including organizing shellfish tags

• Starting at $15-24/hour based on experience

• 1+ year cook experience
• Food safety certification
• High-volume restaurant experience

• Ability to stand and walk for prolonged periods
• Frequent reaching, bending, and stooping required to serve guests and perform side work.
• Must be able to lift and carry items up to 25 pounds regularly, such as trays with food and beverages.
• Ability to move quickly and efficiently between dining and kitchen areas.
• Manual dexterity required for handling small items (e.g., glassware, silverware) and operating point-of-sale (POS) systems.
• Work is performed in a fast-paced, indoor and outdoor environment that may include exposure to varying levels of noise and temperature changes.
