Community Property Manager (LIHTC)
Essential Staffing Solutions is seeking a seasoned Community Property Manager with proven Tax Credit (LIHTC) experience for an immediate temp-to-hire opportunity. This role requires strong leadership, compliance knowledge, and the ability to oversee all aspects of apartment community operations.

Job Duties- Collect rent and other property fees from tenants and individual owners.
- Ensure full compliance with LIHTC regulations and reporting requirements.
- Pay property expenses, including taxes, mortgages, payroll, insurance premiums and maintenance costs.
- Report the property's financial status, occupancy and expiring leases to property owners.
- Meet potential tenants, show them the property and assess their applications in accordance with anti‑discrimination laws.
- Advertise vacant properties and hire a leasing agent to find tenants as needed.
- Inspect properties and arrange for repairs and new materials as required.
- Arrange contracts for maintenance, trash removal, landscaping, security and other ongoing services and manage disputes with these service providers where appropriate.
- Investigate and resolve property complaints and rental violations.
- Proficiency in property management software (preferably Yardi and/or One Site).
- Minimum of 2 years of apartment management experience.
- 2+ years of Property Management experience within a Tax Credit (LIHTC) community.
- Strong understanding of LIHTC compliance and reporting standards.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Customer service focused with the ability to be a strong team player.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel).
- Able to multitask and meet deadlines in a timely and organized manner.
- Must be able to work a flexible schedule, including weekends.
- Must be able to tour the community with clients, which includes walking the property and climbing stairs.
- Ability to diffuse conflict and solve problems.
- Customer service and interpersonal skills needed to meet with prospective and current tenants.
- Good verbal communication.
- Attention to detail to ensure applications are accurate and tenant issues or questions are adequately addressed.
- Organization and the ability to multitask efficiently.
- Problem‑solving to find effective solutions for a variety of potential issues.
- Knowledge of rental contracts and property and anti‑discrimination laws.
