Aboutour Neonatal Intensive Care Unit (NICU):
Johns Hopkins All Children's Hospital is home to a 97-bed, level IV, neonatal intensive care unit (NICU) offering the highest level of care. The team in our NICU is dedicated to treating infants who need the highest level of care and is led by two Nurse Managers. Led by a team of more than 25 neonatologists experienced in treating the most challenging cases, our NICU team provides the most advanced life support and monitoring technology for premature and critically ill infants.
What you will do:The NICU Clinical Manager provides oversight of the day to day operations of the department. She/he analyzes, develops, and implements methods and systems to improve overall efficiency and effectiveness of services. In addition, the Clinical Manager creates an environment that promotes the provision of patient centered, specialized, and evidence based nursing care, across the continuum, through an inter-professional approach to treatment, research, education and advocacy.
Accountable for the quality outcomes of the unit(s) or cost center(s);
Participates and develops quality improvement processes to include goals and performance measurements and leading teams to excellence. Ensures service excellence expectations are understood by all unit(s); staff are properly trained on core values.
This position contributes to the goals of the department and the Department of Nursing. Develops collaborative relationships with physicians, advanced practice providers and other team members and departments.
- BSN required
- Current licensure in the State of Florida as a Registered Nurse
- Certification in specialty
- Minimum of two years’ experience at the supervisor level
- Basic Life Support, American Heart Association Certifications

Salary Range: Minimum 49.54/hour - Maximum 76.79/hour. Compensation will be commensurate with equity and experience for roles of similar scope and responsibility. In cases where the range is displayed as a $0 amount, salary discussions will occur during candidate screening calls, before any subsequent compensation discussion is held between the candidate and any hiring authority.
