Elite Medical Staffing is hiring a Director of Nursing (DON) for an open position in St. Petersburg, FL
. Successful candidates will have previous DON experience in a skilled nursing setting and a strong ability to apply clinical skills to new settings.

Responsibilities- Direct the nursing department in a skilled nursing setting, ensuring high-quality patient care and adherence to regulatory requirements.
- Collaborate with medical staff to develop and implement clinical policies and procedures.
- Oversee staffing, budget, and resource management for the DON area.
- Mentor and lead nursing personnel, promoting professional development and quality improvement initiatives.
- Must be legally authorized to work in the United States
- FL RN license or compact license
- 1 year previous experience working under active license
- Willing to undergo a background check in accordance with local law/regulations
- Willing to take a drug test in accordance with local law/regulations
- Must be able to lift 50 pounds
- Maintain consistent attendance; punctual for scheduled shifts
- $50-55/HR
- Daily Pay through the Rain App, access 50% of your earned wages on a daily basis (optional)
