Waveguide Fabrication Process Engineer

How your day will unfold

You’ll start by translating customer requirements into actionable manufacturing plans for precision waveguide systems and assemblies. That means building routings and bills of materials in the ERP, producing clear manufacturing drawings in Solid Works, and mapping out each step for CNC machining, brazing, soldering, and welding. As production progresses, you’ll refine workflows to cut waste and cost, write SOPs that keep quality predictable, and enter accurate time estimates into the ERP so schedules stay on track.

Throughout the day, you’ll collaborate with vendors on materials and special processes, track purchases, and keep the project timeline moving from inception through shipment. You’ll partner with internal teams and customers to meet technical, procedural, and schedule expectations, all while staying current on new tools and manufacturing technologies—and championing those that raise performance.
