Welding Shop Supervisor - AquaWorx

Responsibilities

• Supervise and coordinate daily activities of welding and fabrication personnel.
• Inspect all welded assemblies and finished products to ensure quality, accuracy, and compliance with company and industry standards.
• Review engineering drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications; provide recommendations for improved fabrication efficiency, material usage, and production flow.
• Ensure welding operations adhere to safety protocols, quality standards, and production schedules.
• Support and mentor shop welders by providing technical guidance, feedback, and performance oversight.
• Maintain accurate documentation related to inspections, production records, quality checks, and rework.
• Coordinate with engineering, production, and management teams to resolve fabrication issues and meet project timelines.
• Ensure proper setup, use, and basic maintenance of welding and fabrication equipment.
• Stay current on welding techniques, materials, and industry best practices.
• Promote a clean, organized, and safety-focused shop environment.

• Certified Welder with strong TIG and MIG welding experience.
• Previous leadership or supervisory experience in a fabrication or manufacturing environment preferred.
• Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, technical drawings, and specifications.
• Experience welding structural components, railings, stairs, or complex assemblies preferred.
• Excellent attention to detail with a strong focus on quality and documentation.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced factory environment.
• Strong communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
