Are you experienced in family law, personal injury, and civil litigation? Do you possess exceptional organization and multitasking skills? Are you passionate and motivated to take on a professional role in the legal field? If so, we are looking for an experienced legal assistant to join our solo practitioner's team!

• Answer phones
• Prepare correspondence and files
• Managing case files, which would include drafting pleadings and responding to discovery requests
• Monitor changes to laws, guidelines, or regulations; submit reports on pertinent changes in legislation
• Utilize existing files and a variety of other legal research resources to develop information for pending cases

• A minimum of 5 years of experience as a paralegal or legal assistant with prior law office experience is required
• A Florida Registered Paralegal (FRP) is preferred, but not required
• Experience using Microsoft Word, Word Perfect, Outlook, and Time Net billing
• Ability to prioritize and multitask
• Able to work independently
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Deadline and detail-oriented
• pay rate is commensurate with experience
