The client is seeking a talented Associate Attorney to join its insurance defense litigation team in St. Petersburg, Florida. The role focuses on general liability and third-party insurance defense cases
, providing representation for corporations and insurance companies in a variety of litigation matters.

This position involves managing all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting motions, conducting depositions, attending hearings, and trial representation. The opportunity offers exposure to complex cases and the chance to build a strong litigation career in a collaborative environment.

• Manage all aspects of litigation, including legal research, drafting motions, conducting depositions, attending hearings, and trial representation.
• Provide representation for corporations and insurance companies in general liability and third-party insurance defense matters.
• Collaborate in a team environment and contribute to complex cases.

• Juris Doctor degree and admission to the Florida Bar

• 26 years of litigation experience (insurance defense preferred).
• Strong knowledge of civil litigation and trial procedures.
• Experience in drafting and presenting motions in court.
• Excellent research, writing, and oral advocacy skills.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Prior experience in general liability and third-party insurance defense is a plus.
• Candidates who currently own or have previously owned a law firm will not be considered.
• PIP-only attorneys will not be considered.
