Facilities Management Systems Implementation Specialist

We’re working confidentially with a well-established business in Florida to appoint a CMMS Implementation Specialist (Contract) to support the roll-out of a new facilities management system across a large headquarters campus.

This is a hands-on role supporting the implementation and go-live of a new CMMS (FMX), playing a key part in preparing, validating and organising asset, inventory and campus data to ensure long-term success.

The contract is expected to run for at least six months, with the potential to convert to a permanent role following successful delivery.

The role will involve:

• Auditing assets and inventories, including data clean-up and on-site verification
• Preparing structured, import-ready datasets for CMMS migration
• Supporting the development of naming conventions, location hierarchies and data standards
• Campus walkthroughs to verify assets, spaces and storage locations
• Mapping and labelling rooms, spaces and assets using floor plans and campus maps
• Supporting migration from existing systems (including work orders and tickets)
• Assisting with CMMS configuration, workflows, PM schedules and system testing
• Supporting documentation, SOPs and training materials ahead of go-live

We’re keen to speak with candidates who have:

• Direct experience supporting or delivering a CMMS implementation
• Background working with facilities, property or operations teams
• Strong data skills, particularly Excel and system imports
• Experience auditing and validating large datasets
• A hands-on approach and comfort working on-site
• Familiarity with work order systems, asset management tools or similar platforms
• Strong organisation skills and the ability to manage multiple work streams
