This role will be responsible for strategically integrating traditional infrastructure operations (compute, storage, virtualization) with modern automation and orchestration practices (Ansible, Terraform, Service Now). The ideal candidate will bring a strong technical foundation and a passion for driving operational efficiency and innovation.

This position follows our hybrid workstyle policy:
Expected to be in a Raymond James office location a minimum of 10-12 days a month.

Please note:

• Build automation workflows using Ansible and Terraform, triggered via Service Now orchestration.
• Develop and enhance Service Catalog items, business rules, UI policies, and client/server scripts.
• Collaborate with infrastructure teams to understand operational needs and translate them into Service Now solutions.
• Maintain and optimize CMDB integrations and data accuracy.
• Ensure platform scalability, performance, and security best practices.
• Provide technical leadership and mentorship to junior developers and admins.
• Integrate Service Now with infrastructure platforms (e.g., Cisco UCS, virtualization platforms, storage systems) to automate provisioning and lifecycle management.

• Experience in Service Now development (including scripting, workflows, and integrations).
• Strong understanding of Service Now architecture, modules, and API capabilities.
• Experience with Cisco UCS, virtualization technologies, and enterprise storage systems.
• 3+ years' experience in Ansible and Terraform for infrastructure automation.
• Solid scripting skills in JavaScript, Power Shell. Go/Golang is a plus.
• Familiarity with ITIL processes and CMDB best practices.
• Experience integrating Service Now with external systems (REST/SOAP APIs).
• Excellent problem-solving and communication skills.
