A skilled Data Engineer with expertise in PySpark and Microsoft Azure to design, build, and optimize modern data pipelines and large-scale data processing solutions. You have hands‑on experience with distributed data processing, cloud data engineering, and enterprise‑grade data architectures.

• Design, develop, and maintain data solutions for data generation, collection, and processing.
• Develop, optimize, and maintain PySpark-based ETL pipelines running on Azure Databricks or Azure Synapse.
• Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to identify data requirements and design effective data solutions.
• Optimize existing data pipelines for performance and scalability.
• Monitor and troubleshoot data quality issues to ensure reliable data delivery.
• Document data processes and workflows to facilitate knowledge sharing within the team.

• A minimum of 3 years of professional experience as a Data Engineer with advanced proficiency in PySpark and Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• A minimum of 3 years of experience with ETL development, data transformation, and orchestration tools.
• Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (minimum 12 years of work experience). (If Associate Degree, must have minimum 6 years of work experience.)

• Advanced proficiency with Databricks Platform.
• Databricks Certified Data Engineer Professional (2025) certification.
• Microsoft Certified:
  Azure Data Engineer Associate certification.
• Experience with Azure Dev Ops and CI/CD.
• Experience with SQL Optimization and Query Tuning.
• Strong skills in communication, change management, project management, and storytelling.

This role will require 3 days per week in the office. Hiring locations are Tampa, FL or Nashville, TN.

Annual salary range varies by location; examples include:

• California: $63,800 to $205,800
• Cleveland: $59,100 to $164,600
• Colorado: $63,800 to $177,800
• District of Columbia: $68,000 to $189,300
• Illinois: $59,100 to $177,800
• Maryland: $63,800 to $177,800
• Massachusetts: $63,800 to $189,300
• Minnesota: $63,800 to $177,800
• New York/New Jersey: $59,100 to $205,800
• Washington: $68,000 to $189,300
