Reports to: Visiting Clubhouse Manager
Location: St. Petersburg, FL (Tropicana Field)
The Rays are seeking to add to our team in the Visiting Clubhouse at Tropicana Field. The Visiting Clubhouse Food Lounge Attendant works with the Visiting Clubhouse Manager to assist visiting players, coaches, trainers, and all related staff with professional needs daily. This is a part-time position that is paid hourly. This position is outlined for the 2026 season. An invitation to return for 2027 is possible but not guaranteed.
Responsibilities- Assist with catering set-up/clean‑up
- Coordinate all incoming meals
- Clean and sanitize food preparation utensils, equipment, counter tops, tables, and work areas
- Coordinate timing of food orders so that items served together are finished and presented at the same time
- Maintain food safety health and sanitation standards
- Set up work stations with required ingredients and equipment
- Restock kitchen supplies, rotate food, and stamp the time and date on food in coolers
- Assist with invoicing and ordering
- Light clubhouse duties as needed
- Excellent time management skills
- Ability to work nights, weekends, and holidays
- Experience as short order cook or a similar role in the hospitality industry is a plus
- Demonstrate a general knowledge of the game/environment/daily schedule of baseball
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Ability to demonstrate good judgement
- Ability to handle all physical demands, including lifting up to 50 pounds; ability to walk, climb stairs and stand for extended time periods. Must be able to kneel, twist, squat, and bend for extended time periods, the person in this position needs to occasionally move about to access all areas of the stadium
- Food service or a related field certification a plus including Food Safety/Safe Food Handling certificate
