Originally opened in 1949, the Beachcomber’s name captures the essence of the property. It's all about the beach. Put your toes in the sand and soak in the sun on 200 feet of private beachfront. As was the norm in the early iterations of Florida hotels, Beachcomber’s rooms all open up to a lush courtyard featuring tropical gardens, pools and endless spots to relax in the shade.

No matter where you are, at the Beachcomber, you’re always just steps from the beach and within earshot of live music emanating from our legendary beach bar, Jimmy B’s!

We’re looking for a dependable, detail‑oriented Laundry Attendant who takes pride in keeping our linens fresh, clean, and guest‑ready. If you enjoy staying active, working as part of a supportive team, and knowing your work makes a difference every single day, this could be a great fit for you! This position is essential to maintaining the availability and quality of linens required for daily hotel operations.

The Laundry Attendant supports operational efficiency, housekeeping productivity, and guest satisfaction, particularly during high‑volume and peak business periods.

Please note:

Candidates must complete the required assessment sent after submitting their application in order to be considered for this position.

• Sort, wash, dry, fold, and distribute hotel linens and towels
• Operate commercial washers, dryers, and other laundry equipment safely and efficiently
• Inspect linens for stains, damage, or excessive wear and report concerns
• Maintain cleanliness, organization, and safety of the laundry area
• Follow proper chemical handling, safety, and infection‑control procedures
• Support housekeeping and hotel operations as needed to meet business demands
• Assist with maintaining appropriate linen inventory levels

• Previous laundry or housekeeping experience preferred, but not required
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift, push, or pull up to 75 lbs
• Strong attention to detail and time management skills
• Reliable, punctual, and able to work independently
• Ability to work flexible schedules, including weekends and holidays
