Max Health in St. Petersburg is looking to hire a full-time Medical Assistant to oversee patient care, prepare patients' rooms, assist physicians with exams, and perform front desk tasks. Starting Salary: $20.00 an hour
Normal hours of operation are Monday - Friday, 8:00 am - 5:00 pm.

DAY IN THE LIFE OF A MEDICAL ASSISTANT
As a Medical Assistant, you will be directly involved in ensuring we deliver focused and empathetic patient care at all times. You thrive in this environment by greeting patients warmly and triaging them upon arrival. You prepare them to see the physician by setting up examination and procedure rooms, obtaining histories, vital signs, and weight/height measurements. You may also perform administrative tasks such as scheduling appointments and procedures, managing documents like pre-authorizations, medical records, and test results.
While maintaining a calming presence for our patients, you assist with examinations, procedures, and treatments.
- At least 1 year of experience as an MA
- Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs.
- Computer literacy (experience with EMR/EHR)
- Proficiency in computer skills
