At Shore Acres Care Center, located in the heart of St. Petersburg, Florida, we are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Food Services Director to join our team. As a key member of our leadership team, the Food Services Director will be responsible for overseeing the daily operations of our food service department, ensuring the highest quality of care and exceeding the expectations of our residents.

• Develop and implement menus that cater to the diverse dietary needs of our residents, including special diets and cultural preferences
• Manage the food service staff, including hiring, training, and supervising
• Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements, including health and safety standards
• Coordinate with other departments to ensure seamless service delivery
• Monitor and control food and labor costs to maintain budgetary goals
• Develop and implement policies and procedures to ensure efficient and effective operations

• Minimum 2 years of experience in food services management, preferably in a healthcare setting
• Strong leadership and communication skills, with the ability to motivate and supervise a diverse team
• Knowledge of food service regulations and standards, including OSHA and HIPAA
• Ability to work in a fast‑paced environment, with a high level of attention to detail and excellent organizational skills
• Strong analytical skills, with the ability to interpret financial data and make informed decisions
