Accounting Analyst (Senior-Level) —

Location:

St. Petersburg, FL — Onsite / In-Office

Salary: $90,000 – $110,000 DOE

• Serve as a strategic accounting partner, analyzing financial data to support business decisions and operational improvements
• Own and enhance month-end close processes, identifying inefficiencies and implementing scalable solutions
• Prepare and analyze financial statements, trend analyses, and variance reporting for leadership review
• Develop and maintain reporting dashboards, KPIs, and standardized financial processes
• Partner with leadership on budgeting, forecasting, and forward-looking financial modeling
• Evaluate internal controls and workflows, recommending improvements to strengthen accuracy and efficiency
• Support audits by improving documentation, controls, and reporting consistency
• Collaborate cross-functionally to ensure financial data aligns with business strategy and operational goals
• Provide guidance and informal leadership to junior accounting staff as processes mature

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
• 4+ years of progressive accounting or accounting analysis experience
• Strong understanding of GAAP, financial reporting, and analytical methodologies
• Proven experience improving processes, building workflows, or implementing reporting enhancements
• Advanced Excel skills; experience with ERP/accounting systems required
• CPA or CPA-track preferred
• Strategic mindset with the ability to translate numbers into insights
• Strong communication skills and comfort working in a highly collaborative, in-office environment
